American Councils Moldova April 2014 Newsletter reports on events and projects organized in Moldova in the first half of 2014.

Highlights include AC Moldova's collaboration with the Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages Association's (TESOL) to offer EFL teachers around the world a free online training session, a PowerPoint essay competition on studying English, for all ALC and Access students; and an annual tea at the U.S. Ambassador to Moldova’s residence in Chisinau.

The annual tea, held in March, included Access students from Orhei, Straseni, Ialoveni, and Bender, as well teachers and teacher assistants.

The May Newsletter also details the Moldavian International Education Fair (MIEF), the first educational recruitment fair in Moldova and AC Moldova’s celebration on Global Youth Service Day.

Last but not least, ALC teachers participated as trainers in the Moldova's English Teachers Association annual conference.
