Dear readers,

We are proud to present the second edition of the Modern Trends and Resources for Teachers of Foreign Languages Journal.  Conceived in 2013 to celebrate American Councils 20th anniversary in Moldova and offer Moldovan teachers and university professors the opportunity to learn from our expertise, the November 2013 edition aims to connect educators around the world and publish methodology articles and lesson plans on a variety of issues.
The Journal is designed to serve as a practice-oriented quarterly publication for all those involved in the field of teaching English as a foreign language devoted to publishing practical papers in various aspects, fields and scope of the English Language, such as but not limited to teaching and learning English as a Foreign Language (EFL). It encourages a variety of practical cross-disciplinary interests, especially in the following areas: psychology and sociology of language learning and teaching, testing and evaluation, professional preparation, curriculum design and development, instructional methods, materials, and techniques and professional standards.
We are grateful to all authors who contributed original content to the November issue. We value your expertise and hope that the electronic version of the publication will keep you informed of  the most recent developments in the field of teaching modern languages.
