Volunteering and community service are an important component of Access experience.

Therefore in order to encourage students with new ideas and other volunteering experiences. Weekly, they have met other young active students from Moldova who did volunteering in different places, NGOs, communities and they have shared with Access students what kind of projects they did, where they can get involved as volunteers and how volunteering helped them to start a successful career.

In the first week, students met Alina Bacalov, she is actively involved in AIESEC team and Y-Peer Moldova. She talked about her volunteering experience and how to use your community work and involvement to differentiate yourself. Besides that, Alina talked about why volunteering is important for the future life.

On the other week, Daniel Driul explained to students how joining other NGOs helped him to open his own organization: IFMSA Moldova. Also, he encouraged students to be active and to get involved in as many opportunities as they can, because in this way they will get better jobs, better careers.

In the third and the last week, students met Mihaela Mihalachi. She is an active volunteer in a couple organizations around the country. She spoke about her involvement in Wave Week Moldova, about various AIESEC projects and how volunteering has changed her life in the space of only 4 months, encouraging all the students to start or continue with their community work.

Access Students got inspired by volunteers’ stories and will become more active in Access projects.
